I came to Brooklyn in 1973 and I am still living in Brooklyn.

After I started my Internal Medicine practice in 1978 and

after my practice became a little stable, I joined Brooklyn

Golf Association (Korean) as the Chairman of the Board

(they elected me, not lobbied). And the following year, 1985,

they elected me as the President.

We had lots of fun together among us (Koreans) and played golf

around here and there all over the Tri-State area, Marine Park GC,

Dyker Beach GC in Brooklyn and various courses in Staten Island.

Sometimes we rented bus to go to Golf courses , upstate NY like

Monster.

When we settled our outings at Dyker Beach GC every Wednesday

and Saturday at 11 AM, we often collided with Neighbors' outings at

same time and they used to shout at us, "Go Back To Your Country".

Sometimes we shouted at them before they did to us as they did,

- "Go Back To Your Country" and we laughed together.

If you go to the Dyker Beach GC, you might find a Gazebo at the 1st hole

we donated to the course in appreciation of our outings.

I spent 10 years for our Golf Association to make it settle and grow

before I moved to the New York Golf Association, and etc.
