[Brooklyn Golf Association] - in the news
A~h,
Brooklyn Golf Association...the first organization
in our town I associated with after I came to America.
It was 1984 when we started to gather together at the
Marine Park Golf Course - which you can see when
you drive by on the Belt Parkway near the Exit 11 N/S,
Flatbush Avenue.
I used to live at the nearby Town of Mill Basin from
1978 right after I started my practice. And I used to
go to the practice range and the Golf Course.
When we formed Brooklyn Golf Association, they
asked me to be the first Chairman of the Board and
later I was elected as the President twice. I spent 10
years before I moved on to other organizations in our
Korean community including New York Golf Association.
Now,
when other local golf associations faded away, Brooklyn
Golf Association continues year in, year out for the past
more than 30 years. And it flourishes as you can see the
following news article on the Korea Times, NY;

This is what you call
- "Rome was not built in a day".
Bravo,
Brooklyn Golf Association!!
PS;
Members of Brooklyn Golf Association attended
our Jingolhoe's Outings a few times and they
Donated money each time they attended as NY
Golf Association members did.
Thank you, my old friends and see you next year
again at our Jingolhoe's Annual Outings in Spring
and Fall.
