That's the way our last outing of the year of 2013 ended.
And
it was cold night when I got out of the banquet room of the
Emerson G. C, NJ. It was the first day I wore long john, in
expectation of cold weather in 40s with gusting cold wind.
Looking back,
yesterday,
I knew I would succeed Jingolhoe after Son hoejang's
great efforts with our members as the Founder of Jingol
hoe. I was thinking what to say in front of our members
and guests when I stood at the podium as the new pres
ident of Jingolhoe one year after our "Man-Nam".

"Love",
that was the first word came to my mind. I would say
"Love - is above All", no matter what we would do in
our life - love for your friends, love for your alma mater,
love for your hometown, love for your country
...love, not hate.
"Pride,
but Not Prejudice - and Embrace All" to Move Forward.
"Let's be proud of being a member of Jingolhoe".
Those were the words
what I wanted to convey to let them know
why we were there as Jingolhoe members.
"If your sons and daughters, or grandchildren ask
you about the most memorable moment in your life
in Amerca - let them know it was being a member
of Jingolhoe"
I wanted to say and I said it.
And now,
My Jingolhoe "chingu yeo",
Shall we sing "Chingu yeo"
Togather?

With
Help of God,
"Chingu yeo",
Let's make our Jingolhoe
And
Being a member of Jingolhoe
As
The Most Memorable Moment in Our Life
In America - Together! Shall we?
And
I really appreciate my old golf buddies for the past
30 years - Kwon Jung-hak, Kim Se-jin and all the
members from The Korean-American Golf Asso.
New York - Kwak Chul-yong, and etc for their
attending our last outing of the year.
What an "In-Yeon"
it was to meet my late friend,
Dr. Lee Kyu-hyun's son - Lee Jung-ik,
after his father's death 28 years ago
at his age of 42 - at our dinner yesterday.
I must appreciate the presence of the President
of Masan High Scholl alumni association and
representation by DaeA High School, but I really felt
Sorry that our Jinju High School alumni association's
president - Seo Kyun-duk could not be with us becau
se of his conflict of schedule.
All in all,
yesterday's last outing and award ceremony was
well-prepared and well-executed by our Son hoejang,
Yi sunbaenim, Cha Ho-sung and Lee Sun-hyung hoobae.
One chapter was closed,
but next chapter of 2014
is waiting for us to continue
- For Better.
I am very glad our hoobae - Kim Sung-chul
accepted the Role of the 11/30 Noraebang
Event Chairman. Thank you, Mr. Kim.
Let's check 11/30, Saturday evening
on your calendar.
All in all,
I shall do my best,
And
I shall do anything,
everything that should be done,
Not to Regret.
And that'll be the
Story of My Life
- at the end;
