The phrase "Rome wasn't built in a day" was the first thought I had in my mind
when I accepted the next presidency of our great Jingolhoe when Chairman,
Mr. Li Chun-li sunbaenim called again last Wednesday, 10/9/2013 after my
usual Wednesday golf.
But,
Frankly speaking, I made my mind up to be the next, if there is no one
is willing to be the next to Mr. Son Young-chul hoobae.
The reason was we can't our Jingolhoe drifting away like many other Korean
American organizations in our community disappeared after they announced
their birth.
How many times I saw since I got interested in our community?
Numerous times - no doubt about it.
I don't want to go into details further more because it will take some time to
write about those occasions and I am as Busy as you're, who Excused your
self in the past, time and time,
- "Doing Nothing, but Complaining behind the Scene".
To make my acceptance story short, I'll propose followings before I end
my story;
Proposals;
1. Please, all the Members of Board remain as you are devoting for our
Jingolhoe.
2. Please, Sr. VP/ VP/ and Secretary General - (3 of you) remain as you're
devoting as you have been.
3. From next season, how about Every Other Month Outing, rather than
Every Month, or Spring/ Summer/ Early Fall /and Late Fall Outing - 4
Outings/ Year and Last Outing -> "Away Outing to Upstate NY" for Autumn
Foliages. The other 3 Outings will be at the Emerson as our Home Course.
As I said in the beginning,
"Rome Wasn't Built in A Day"
and Let's Move Forward Together, my friends,
to build a memorable Golf Club, 'Open to Anyone' that wants to join us
- "To Help Build Our Hometown in America".
For that,
We just need 3 Ps
- "Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance".
God bless you, my Jingolhoe members, and have a nice weekend.
