Speaking of Mr. Cha Ho-sung - our secretary general, Jingolhoe
The other day, Wednesday, 6 25, 2014, was my golf day as it has been
since I started my medical practice in 1978 - 36 years ago. As many doctors
who are golfers do, I call Wednesday of the week is Hump Day. In this profession
as a physician, it is very stressful to lead daily life and it is tough - contrary to what
most of people saying that doctors are 'Rich and Respectful', and I don't know
why people in general think that way when they hear the word "Doctor".
Hump Day - Wednesday, is my golf day to get away from the stress I have to go
through and stay in this profession as a physician - to be away from everything,
especially from People out there - to Nature.
To make my story short, I shall go back to the day, 6 25, Wednesday
when I had a golf round with Mr. Cha Ho-sung, Jingolhoe's Secretary
General.
They were forecasting it would be sunny, but there would be possible
scattered thundershowers later in the afternoon.
I got on the highway to head North where the Emerson Golf Club
was located. As you might know, it became our Jingolhoe's Home
Course since we established our Jingolhoe in March 2013.
I played repeatedly soundtrack of "Cinema Paradiso(1988)",
very moving Italian movie which I introduced on our Free_Board
a few days ago and was thinking of my day on the golf course
with Mr. Cha Ho-sung;

As I mentioned before somewhere, learning and playing golf was one
of my Primary Purposes why I came to Amerca( I don't call it "American
Dream" ). And I got involved Golf Club since 1984 as a member of Brroklyn
Golf Association and later as a member of New York Golf Association.
I invested my Time and Efforts to Establish and to make those clubs Better
- and the Best as a club to make friends - to live in this foreign country,
America - through participating in Sports as I did all my life,
- No Matter What Non-Golfers Say, Stupid Enough!
I met Mr. Cha Ho-sung at various golf tournamets in the past.
As far as I know him for a long time as a Single-digit Golfer
- and now I know he is a Great Person, not only a Great Golfer
as you might know, he was the one who suggested to
Donate a little money to "Milal Missionary for the Disabled People"
- which we did last year.
When I arrived there at the Emerson, he was already there waiting for our
teeing-off. Very nice and kind marshall of the course, Al, guided us to the
6th Hole to start. I could see No One out there in front of us.
There was cool breeze, but it was muggy and humid. As we played along
I got a little tired around 16th Hole we played, but we finished our nice and
cozy golf round at the Emerson.
He was shooting more than 300 yards, but I had a pretty decent round not
to shame myself, even though there was no comparion to his golf skill.
At the delicious dinner table, we talked about our last outing at the Haverstraw,
or other memorable golf course we could remember. I know he can handle it
as our great secretary general as you all know, my Jingolhoe members!
Mr. Cha, I would say it was very wonderfulful day with you,
and I wish we have more rounds together in the future.
Thanks for the day - and I'll Remember You.
I shall present you my favorite Alain Morisod's
- "A Wonderful Day", Mr. Cha;
